After graduation, I went on for a Associates Degree in Human Services/Mental Health at NHTI in Concord, and a BA at UNH in Behavioral Studies. After working manyyyyyy years in mental health in NH,I decided I needed a change and left my job in NH and moved to New Jersey, I am presently looking for work with troubled youth. July 2004 - After graduation I went to college at Syracuse University and obtained a BA in Psychology. After Syracuse I went to graduate school at Springfield College in Springfield, MA and obtained a MEd. in Counseling Psychology. From there I moved to Cincinnati, OH and started working as a mental health/substance abuse counselor. I lived in Cincinnati for about four years and ended up moving back to NH for a few years. I actually worked at the Merrimack County Department of Corrections as a substance abuse counselor so I may have seen a few of you there.
I then married my husband and moved to Newton, MA and worked as a school counselor in the Boston Catholic School System. In November 2002 my husband and I moved to Denver, CO for a job opportunity for my husband. Soon after we found out I was pregnant and we have a one year old boy named Carter.
I still keep in touch with Julie McGirr (Smith) and Debbie Whitman (Jipner). I would love to here from some of you, please keep in touch.

Hi everyone! For those of you wondering what happened to my name? I took my step-fathers name two weeks after graduation. I would have done it while still attending high school, but thought it would be way to complicated. Anyway....After graduation I went to New Hampshire Tech. in Concord to study accounting. I consentrated far too much on the the extracurricular activities college had to offer instead of taking care of business at class. So after a year...I dropped out and chased my baseball dream. I attended an open try-out with the Boston Red Sox. It was a very humbling experience....I lasted three days before getting sent home packing. I may have been able to play well in high school, but the pro's well......are PRO'S. Oh well! I can atleast say I tryed. I then came back to the Tech. and continued with my accounting degree. I started a sales position at Banks Chevrolet in Concord in 1993 as a way to pay the bills while going to school nights. After a few months I was doing pretty well and quit school again. I did get one thing from school, however, my wife Beth. We'll be married 9 years in October 2003. We have two awesome boys, Nick(6) and Gabe(4). They are without a doubt the most important thing in my life. I didn't think it was possible to love someone so much. I am still employed at Banks Chevrolet (10 years this May for those of you not doing the math). I was promoted to Sales Manager a little over a year ago, STRESS, but a lot of fun. We are now the largest Chevrolet dealer in New England. I work long hours, but love my career and spend every minute I can with my beautiful wife and kids. Please drop me an email....I would love to hear from you.

Hey everybody what the hell is up. So you dummies picked me as most likely to succeed, eh? I guess as long as you dont mean materially, you are right. After graduation I went to work with my father for a year as a general contractor, which was the last year he operated. The year after that it was off to UNH where all I did was collect a years worth of debt. I subsequently dropped out for lack of interest. I worked for my uncle as a mechanic for the next six months and then when that did not work out (dont ever work for family. It sucks.) it was off delivering parts for Robbins Auto Parts for the next five months. Wearing a bright red shirt, making less than you did in high school, still living with your mother (who had recently left my father), and being twenty years old kind of makes you feel like a jerk. Then on April 22, 1992 I went to work for Banks Chevrolet and have been there ever since. I work in the partsroom as a counterman which is not really where I would have envisioned myself ten years ago but hey, it affords me a decent living, I get to work around cars and not get dirty, I work with a few people who have interests similar to mine, and my boss is pretty cool so I guess I really shouldnt bitch too much. Ive been dragracing since the Summer of 89 with some car (or truck or whatever) at New England Dragway and have posted a best ET of 12.43 and best MPH of 108.07 (not the same run. Can anybody beat it?) in cars that Ive modified with engines Ive built. Im pretty good with a small block Chevy and Im proud of that. Soon I hope to branch out into road course racing in my sisters old 69 Camaro that I bought from her in the Fall of 2000. Not being able to put apostrophes in this is making me feel a little dumb. In August of 1994 I met my future wife, Niomi Schultz (now Samodai). Two weeks after meeting we were for all intents and purposes living together and in April of 1995 I asked her to marry me and in October of that year we were married in Concord. It was like the things you read about, so if you dont believe it, I tell you love at first sight is the real deal. Our son Cameron was born November 24, 1998 and is so friggin smart (and stubborn) I cant believe it. We are trying to have another baby right now but no luck as of yet. Niomi graduated from NHTI with an Assosiates Degree in Nursing last May and received her RN in July. She worked full time while going to school and let me tell you those were two stressful years. She works at Concord Hospital (where shes worked for 7 years, as a CNA before the RN) and really seems to enjoy her work, which is something I envy immensely. My hobbies include working with cars (good projects now, no more of that boy-racer crap), any kind of auto racing (primarily NASCAR and Grand American Sports Cars and the like) playing bass in a band (Surgeon General-we are trying to ressurrect the power trio) travelling (went to England, Wales, and Scotland in May 95 and France in October 2001 along with various locations in the US east of the Mississippi) and making sure Im a good husband and father. Currently we live in Concord in the house we bought in October 97 thats spitting distance from the Loudon town line. All in all, I feel like Im living the American Dream, so maybe your ballots were well cast after all!!

I now work for AT&T Broadband and Tom and I bought a condo in a small town called Castle Rock. We will be growing out of this place very soon though! And we are planning on moving back to the East Coast once Tom has completed his 20 years in the military out here so we can be closer to our roots. Hope everyone is doing well, is healthy and happy!

April 2005-Things around here are very busy. My boys are getting bigger and bigger every second. Cooper is now 8yrs old and a 2nd grader, Cameron is 5(almost 6) and a kindergartener, and Jameson is 4 and still stuck at home with mom, much to his dislike(he is ready for school NOW!). All three boys are into hockey, they play in Henniker and that keeps us very busy from October to March, and then it is on to summer hockey. They also play baseball during the summer and we try to fit in a few camping trips when we can find time. Marc and I have been married 13yrs this May, still living in Weare and I stay home and he works in Nashua. For anyone that I have run into in the last few years, I am sure the first thing you wondered is whats wrong with her, she has no hair? I have Alopecia Areata, which is a immune disorder where my immune system thinks my hair is a disease and is fighting it off. I have times when it grows great and others when it falls out like crazy but have come to the conclusion that it is "Just Hair". So if I see you in a store or on the street don't be afraid to say hi, I am very lucky that my hair loss is not related to something much more serious. Thats it for now, gotta run the kids to something. Hope everyone keeps updating their bios it is so fun to see what everyone is up to.

'November 2007--After graduation from MV, I received an associates degree in Interior Design from Hesser College in Manchester. I was an interior designer in NH until I moved to Iowa in 1995 and then continued in the field, doing kitchen design, until 2003 when I decided to go back to school again full time to become a sign language interpreter. I met my husband in the fall of ''94 and we just celebrated our 10 year anniversary last month. My husband and I bought our home the same year we were married (1997), had our first child. (a girl) in 4/99 and our second child, (a boy), in 1/01. I have now been in the midwest for 12 years, am enjoying the freedom and diversity of my new career enourmously and am in the planning stages of building a new home. I still miss the colors of NH and its proximity to the mountains, ocean and Boston but will be content to visit family and friends back "home" while continuing to sink my roots in Iowa. '

WOW,this is really cool! well,i wish i could say i went to college and earned all these degrees but as of now i still have no regrets.I went to the tech.my first year after h.s.but after i looked further into it discovered after two years i could be a social workers aide (no thanks) and i did not feel like going to school for another 4 years so i ended up getting my cosmetology license in ten months.I met my husband,Mike in 1990 (whom grad. from P.A. in 1989) and asked me to marry him after 2 months. This August will be 15 years. We lived in Epsom for a year then bought my grandmothers house shortly after. We have 3 children, all born in May, Alyssa(13) Alex(9)and Hanna(4).Everyone who meets Alyssa can instantly tell she is my daughter, acts and looks just like me(poor thing!)They all have blonde hair and blue eyes and of course having a family is the best thing in the world.I have been able to be a stay home mom for 13 years but also have always done day care throughout those years,So my children have to constantly share me! I also waitress 2 nights a week.(just to get out to inter-act w/adults!)So life is very busy especially keeping up with a teenager in the house,an active boy ,a 4 year old who is ready for school and keeping my hubby happy.Looking forward to our reunion.

After graduation I waited a year to start college. I graduated in 1994 with a BS in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University (in northern NY). Since I went to school on a four year ROTC scholarship, I went into the Army upon graduation. I was assigned to Germany and was excited about the prospect to a four year European vacation. That notion came to halt when they sent me to Bosnia and Macedonia for 15 months staright starting on Christmas Day 1995. Altogether I spent 25 months forward deployed around Europe. I was a construction engineering platoon leader and, in retrospect, it was a great experience. It was not all doom and gloom though, I managed to travel quite a bit and meet my wife, Marija. We have been married since February 1998. I got out of the Army in September 1999 and moved to Richmond, VA. I am finally getting to use my degree as an engineer with Honeywell. It is amazing how much you forget from college after six years. Marija and I have two beautiful sons, Lucas, who was born 5-16-1999 and Noah, born 6-19-2002.
I wish I could have made the reunion, but I got to catch up quite a bit at Tony Michniewicz s wedding. John LaRoche keeps me updated on the goings on in the MV area.

Hello all! After being removed from 3 seperate High Schools.. Mom made me join the Army, Infantry to be exact. I was stationed at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. Boy was that a wakeup call. I thank her all the time. I did my tour and came back to NH where I worked for Elektrisola in Boscawen. 4 years later I wanted to move on with my life and went to Boston, MA to do Finish Carpentry and ended up in Auburn NH doing the same. One day after drinking heavily and working I thought that I could do a 4ft jump in 21st gear on my mountain Bike. Nope. Needless to say I woke in the hospital with a broken back! After 6 months of recovery I went back to school where I learned Network Administration. I currently work for the Concord School District as a Network Engineer and am finally happy with my job! I have a son and he is my pride and joy! He's about to turn 9 and lives with me most of the time! Never been married. In a nut shell, I'M finally all growed up!! Take care everyone! Send me an email!

Well hello everyone! Though I never graduated from MV, I still consider it "home." After leaving in 1988 I went on to graduate from Belmont High School. After that I decided to flee NH, swearing I'd never come back. I went to college at Northeastern, got married, lost the most important person in my life, my mother, had a baby in 1999, went to graduate school at UMass Boston, and really started to enjoy my work more than I can ever describe. It was then that I realized my life was missing something. So my husband and I decided to make the move home. We moved into Salem, then quickly bought a great home in Chester, NH. Though I'm not all the way home...I'm close. I still keep in contact with Lisa Dwyer (Smith) and would love to hear from some of the other alum!!

After graduation I attended Hesser College and graduated from there in 1991 with a degree in Paralegal Studies. I married Chris Hodges (Class of 1986) in June, 1991. We have two handsome boys, Kyle (almost 5) and Drew (7 months). They keep us extremely busy but they are great! We built our house in January 1998 in Loudon, NH and love it. We never could get too far from home! Chris now works for the Loudon Police and I work at Concord District Court. Maybe someday I will get to use my degree but if not the benefits with the State are great! The reunion we had in October 1999 was so much FUN that I can't wait for the next one! I still spend alot of time with my sister Kara (probably too much if you ask Chris!). She is married now to a great guy and they have one son Seth (2 1/2 years old) and one on the way in May. Hopefully a girl! I hope everyone is doing well! Update July 2001. My sister had a baby boy on April 27, 2000. His name is Chandler James. He is totally opposite in looks from my other nephew Seth. Chandler is blonde and blue-eyed and Seth has dark hair and melt-your-heart brown eyes. So between Kara and I we have four (!) boys. Who would have thought that! My son Kyle starts the 1st grade in September at Loudon Elementary. He finished kindergarten there and absolutely loved it! So we are starting the second generation of Merrimack Valley students! My other son Drew will be 2 August 23rd. He is shall I say a very active child! The typical 2 year old. Chris and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in June. I can't believe it has been that long. We have a great life and keep busy and happy with our 2 beautiful sons! Update May 2005 - We moved in February 2003 to Thornton. We were both ready for a change and had a great opportunity. Chris is now the Fire Chief/Director of Public Safety in Waterville Valley. I am working part-time at the Plymouth District Court. It was a little scary at first to make that much of a change but it has worked out great! I love being able to spend more time with the kids. Our 2 sons keep us busy still between school, football, basketball, and baseball. Kyle is almost 10 and Drew is 5 1/2. They are growing up too fast!

After leaving MV, I received my B.S. in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at UNH. In addition to my major of Business, I completed a minor in Philosophy. I graduated from WSBE in May of 1994, moved to Dover and started my first real job with Cabletron. From June of 1994 to February of 1996, I slaved away for the corporation. That job wasn't for me and I ended up walking out on a Friday morning. From February to October of 1996, I worked part time for the Market Basket to make ends meet. Returning to your high school job is a humbling experience. Lucky for me, I hooked up with a small software company by the name of Softdesk as a support technician. Softdesk was bought out my Autodesk, which is the fourth largest PC software company in the world. I am now happily employed as the Team Lead for the Autodesk architectural product support group.
I live in Concord and keep myself busy with my cars, comic book collection and sports. Since high school, I have gone through more cars than I can remember. In fact, I still had my Trans Am up until last year when I finally sold it. I currently have two car projects in the works that take up a lot of my time and money. My comic book collection has grown to an insane level and I would like open my own comic store some day. To keep in shape (which gets harder with each passing year), I play basketball and volleyball.
I am currently engaged to the love of my life, Mandie Jarres, and we will be married in May of 2001. Shortly after that we are looking to buy a house in the greater Manchester area and settle down.
