Some may remember me as one of the towns bad juvenile delinquent's. I left to attend the Golden Rule Farm (now Spaulding Youth Center) in 1957. After repeating the 10 th grade, I was given an offer I couldn't refuse and enlisted in the Air Force. I made it my career, and between it and my wife, left my youth's problems behind. I am about to retire (4 yrs) from my second career and for the last 5 years have been working one day a week on my lifes close-out career as an organbuilder with a local builder (Tacoma, Wa.) of the older European traditional tracker style of organ (think Bach). This is extremely rewarding and who knows, I may do it until I fall off the top of one. For anyone who has problem children, tell them all is not lost. I came out of it, have 2 ghildren, 8 grandchildren, and recently a great grandchild.
