After graduating from PHS in 1941, I did defense work during World War II, and later worked at Richard Brew & Co., Concord and at City Hall, Concord. I married Verne in 1952 and have one daughter, Sheila, working as a paralegal in Las Vegas, and two grand-children, Ryan and Erin of North Carolina.
