I have decided to shut down the site. With the advent of Facebook (which has an MV alumni group), MySpace, Classmates, etc., it just isn't worth it to me anymore to spend the time maintaining this site. And you would not BELIEVE the spam!

If someone out there is interested in taking it over, let me know. Send me an email at mvhsalum [at] gmail.com.

Please present a somewhat-compelling reason why you'd like to take over the site, as well as your connection to MV (I'm not handing my baby over to just anyone)!

This site is for anyone who lived in Andover, Boscawen, Loudon, Penacook, Salisbury or Webster, New Hampshire. Anyone who at anytime attended or worked at a school in the Merrimack Valley School District, whether you graduated or not, is welcome to join this site.

A bit about the purpose of this site and why it began: I'm Karen Sloane. I went to the Merrimack Valley School District from Kindergarten to 12th Grade. I haven't lived in New Hampshire full-time since I was 17, which, in 2003, is half my life! I don't know what the deciding factor was in starting the site, besides the fact that I could. It's intended to bring together old friends and classmates who went to school in Andover, Boscawen, Loudon, Penacook, Salisbury or Webster. While I've mainly managed to keep up with my close friends, there were always people I thought of fondly after school, even if we weren't close while we were there. I like being able to look at the site and say "That nice guy from Algebra class is doing OK." I hope you feel the same.
